1st Grant!

We were awarded our first grant for Pushing Margins.  A big thanks goes out to Rainbow Grocery Cooperative!  The award of $1000 will go a long way towards our pilot program.  We are very grateful for their generosity!

Rainbow Grocery Cooperative is a San Francisco worker owned grocery co-op.  They provide affordable vegetarian food from local farmers and support fair labor practices.  

We found a space!

Pushing Margins is being sponsored by the Center for Urban Schools and Partnerships, which is an extension program of the School of Education at Mills College!  They have given us the space at no cost!  We are thankful for their help and encouragement, and are excited about this new partnership!
